The Luxa 500M adds motorised convenience to the proven Luxa 500 manual frame. A compact tubular motor replaces the hand crank, providing single-button blade rotation via infrared remote control. The motor housing is fully concealed within the column profile — no external motor boxes.

Maximum module: 5,500 mm × 4,000 mm. 230V motor with 12 Nm torque. Compatible with Somfy Smoove wall switch. Ideal for projects that require motorisation on a budget — the 500M costs approximately 25% less than the fully-featured 700 series while delivering the same waterproofing and build quality.

Small Venue Terraces

Motorised operation is important for hospitality — staff can't spend time cranking pergola blades between serving tables. The 500M provides one-button control at a price point suitable for independent cafés and bars.

Upgrade path: the 500M frame accepts all Luxa 700 accessories (LED, heating, speakers) if the venue wants to enhance the installation later.
