Four infill families on one modular aluminium frame.
Aluminium railings are typically lighter than comparable steel assemblies and avoid timber-style repainting cycles. Alloy, coating class and corrosion protection should be selected according to project exposure, especially in coastal or high-salt environments.
The EasyMod MARS modular railing system offers three infill options: vertical bars (Ø16 mm round or 14×14 mm square), horizontal profiles (20×20 mm or 30×15 mm) and solid/perforated panels (50×15 mm). Heights: 900/1000/1100 mm. Maximum span between posts: 2,500 mm. 3D adjustable wall brackets compensate for surface irregularities.
Glass infill railings (Alcodec FS series) offer unobstructed views and a premium modern aesthetic. Bar infill railings (EasyMod MARS) are more economical, easier to repair and come in a wider variety of patterns. For high-rise residential, glass is preferred for view preservation; for commercial stairways, bars are standard.
Railing specifications should be checked against the relevant project country, use class, height and local building rules. EN 1991-1-1, DIN 18065 and bar-spacing references can guide the review, but final compliance depends on the selected system and project documentation.
