What is a zip screen?
A zip screen is a motorised external textile blind for windows and facades. Zip-guided side channels keep the fabric taut and wind-resistant up to 130 km/h, blocking 95% of solar heat.
What glass is used in glass railing systems?
All Alcodec glass railing systems use VSG laminated tempered safety glass. Two tempered glass layers bonded with PVB interlayer. Options from 6+6 mm to 15+15 mm.
Do aluminium railings require maintenance?
No. QUALICOAT certified powder coating means aluminium railings won't rust, fade or peel. Annual cleaning with soapy water is sufficient. No painting or varnishing needed.
How long does pergola installation take?
Standard bioclimatic pergola installation takes 2-4 days. Production time is 3-4 weeks from order confirmation.
Do you offer OEM manufacturing?
Yes. Alcodec provides OEM (white-label) manufacturing to European brands. We can produce pergolas, zip screens, glass railings and other aluminium systems under your brand name.
What is a solar carport?
A solar carport is an aluminium car shelter with integrated photovoltaic panels. It combines vehicle protection with clean energy generation, producing 3,000-5,000 kWh annually.
What warranty does Alcodec offer?
10-year structural warranty on aluminium profiles and powder coating. Motor manufacturer warranty (Somfy: 5 years). 5-year warranty on glass railing fittings.
Which RAL colours are available?
All Alcodec aluminium products can be powder coated in any RAL Classic or RAL Design colour with QUALICOAT certification.
How long do aluminium fence systems last?
Aluminium fence systems offer 25+ year lifespan. Won't rust, rot or warp. WPC panels are moisture and UV resistant. Zero maintenance cost.
Are glass balustrades wind resistant?
Yes. Alcodec glass balustrade systems are tested to EN 1991-1-1. FS 1500: 1.5 kPa, FS 3000: 3.0 kPa, FS 7000: 7.0 kPa wind load rated.
