Sliding and folding shutters for solar control and energy efficiency.
Brise-soleil (sun breaker) systems are external facade elements that control solar gain through adjustable or fixed aluminium louvres. Unlike interior blinds, they block heat before it reaches the glass — project-dependent cooling impact compared with interior blinds. Available as sliding panels or folding shutters.
Sliding brise-soleil panels move on top/bottom rails, allowing partial or full opening. Best for large facade areas and linear designs. Folding shutters pivot on hinges, folding flat against the wall when open. Better for windows and smaller openings. Both available in horizontal or vertical louvre orientation.
External shading can reduce cooling demand depending on glass area, orientation and use schedule. It can support green-building documentation when the project data is prepared correctly. Aluminium construction supports end-of-life recycling.
Louvre widths from 50 mm to 300 mm. Fixed or adjustable angle. Wood-look sublimation printing for traditional aesthetics. Perforated panels for filtered light. Any RAL colour with QUALICOAT II certified coating. Motorised options with sun-tracking automation.
