DIN 18065 — Stair Safety and Railing Heights
DIN 18065 regulates stair construction and railing heights in Germany. Minimum height: 900mm residential, 1100mm public. Bar spacing max 120mm to prevent child climbing.
EN 1090 — Structural CE Marking
EN 1090 is mandatory for CE marking of structural steel and aluminium. Glass railing base profiles are classified as structural elements. Execution classes EXC2 or EXC3 typical for glass railings.
TRAV — Safety Glazing Rules
German technical rules for fall-prevention glazing. Category A: horizontal load. Category B: horizontal + vertical. Category C: point-fixed. VSG mandatory in all categories.
CE Marking Requirements
