Alcodec Square Spigot Glass Railing

The Alcodec spigot glass railing is a compact balcony guard route for private villas, small terraces and facade edges where a continuous base channel is not the preferred visual detail. Instead of a full U-profile, each glass panel is held by individual aluminium spigot shoes fixed to the verified sill, parapet or slab edge.

The typical starting glass build-up is 6+6mm VSG laminated safety glass, subject to project dimensions, edge condition, wind exposure and local approval route. The point-shoe detail keeps the lower edge visually light while still giving the project team clear anchor, waterproofing and maintenance points to review before production.

This system should be specified after checking parapet depth, edge distance, anchor pull-out, drainage, glass height and whether the site requires a different laminated build-up. It is best positioned for private villa balconies, low-rise residential edges and compact terraces where the design goal is transparency with visible but restrained fixing hardware.
